Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data reaches Skytalos when you visit this site or talk to us, what it is used for and how you can exercise the rights granted by Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018, the LGPD).

Who the controller is

The data controller is SKYTALOS TECNOLOGIA LTDA, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 68.953.045/0001-14.

What the site collects

Very little. The site has no forms, no logged-in area, no analytics tool and no ad pixel. In practice, this is the data that passes through here:

• Access logs. When you open any page, the hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records technical request data such as IP address, date and time, page visited and browser. This keeps the site online, secure and protected against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX, LGPD). Logs are kept for the period defined by Vercel.
• Language preference. A cookie named NEXT_LOCALE stores whether you are browsing in Portuguese or English. It is needed so the site opens in the language you chose, it does not identify you and it expires when you close the browser.
• Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device.

We do not use tracking, advertising or third-party cookies. That is why the site shows no consent banner. If that changes, this policy and the site will be updated first.

When you contact us

The contact buttons open WhatsApp or your email app. The conversation happens outside the site, and we then process what you send us: name, phone number or email address and the content of your message.

• Purpose: to reply, understand your project and prepare a quote.
• Legal basis: preliminary steps toward a contract, at your request (art. 7, V, LGPD).
• Retention: while the conversation or contract is active. If it becomes a contract, the data is kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. If it does not, we delete it when you ask or once the conversation no longer has a purpose.

WhatsApp is a Meta service with its own privacy policy. Skytalos email is hosted by Hostinger.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. It only goes through the providers that make the site and our support work:

• Vercel Inc., site hosting (access logs)
• Hostinger, email hosting
• Meta (WhatsApp), if you choose to talk to us there

We may also share data when an authority requires it by law or court order.

International transfer

Vercel processes access logs on servers outside Brazil. This transfer follows the cases set out in art. 33 of the LGPD, with the contractual safeguards offered by the provider.

Links to other sites

The site links to Instagram, LinkedIn, GitHub and to the websites of portfolio projects. Once you click, you leave this site and each one's own privacy rules apply.

Your rights

Under art. 18 of the LGPD, you can ask at any time for:

• confirmation that we process your data, and access to it
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data
• anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed against the law
• portability to another provider
• information about who we share your data with
• withdrawal of consent, when processing depends on it
• objection to processing based on legitimate interest

Just write to contato@skytalos.com.br. We reply within 15 days. If you feel your request was not handled, you can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) at gov.br/anpd.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only and uses security headers that block scripts from unknown origins and prevent the page from being loaded inside other sites. Since the site keeps no personal data in a database of its own, there is no user database to leak.

Children and teenagers

The site is aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children or teenagers.

Changes to this policy

When something changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
